I don’t even know what the fukk you’re talking about because I never said anything about them turning down money for 5 star matches, nor did I say they should work independents. I’m just saying as a tag team they have a better chance at doing more for their brand outside the E.

The shyt you come up with just for an argument, man. Jesus. :snoop:

Money isn't the sole thing that motivates everyone in their chosen profession. Especially in inherently creative industries like in entertainment - acting, directing, writing, music, sports, wrestling, etc. The art of the craft is highly important and generally something that has personal meaning to the people doing the work.

Sure, there's always going to be people who just want to do whatever pays the most and don't care about anything else or at least consider everything else a very distant second factor. But there are many who value the quality of the art very highly if not even more highly than the money.

Nothing wrong with either way. Different things motivate different people. Just recognize there is a place in the world for valuing the art and not just the money. If everyone operated with the mindset of just doing whatever lines their pockets with the most cash, then life would be considerably more boring and depressing.
Do you think FTR working for free, fam?

I’m like certain these dudes are making more right now than they were at any point in WWE. I’d bet my life on that..

If they stay away from WWE, I’m certain leaving behind a legacy of matches won’t be the reason.

More to do with freedom, performing where they want at the level they want, and making a living doing it. It’s not “well if I go to WWE I’ll have less bangers..” the way ya’ll make it sound.

Like come on, do ya’ll hear yourselves sometimes? Jesus Christ

I never disagreed about money being important. I'm just saying the other stuff is important too. Like look at Dragon Lee. He just left more money on the table from AEW to take NXT money because he thought it was a better opportunity. For some on here that seem to think money is the only thing that matters, it isn't.

The thing about AEW is the freedom it offers in my opinion. If I’m faced with a decent NXT contract vs similar money in AEW, the ability to make money on outside wrestling gigs and the opportunity to raise my profile.. I’m probably taking the AEW deal, especially if I’m not confident that the NXT gig would lead to something bigger down the line and there was a chance I’d be stuck in purgatory. It’s a case of betting on yourself. NXT deal might be a bigger offer, but the AEW deal is likely a better payoff on the back end. At that point it’s less about a legacy of matches or having bangers.. it’s more so a question of what’s the long term play and how does it coincide with where I want this career of mine to go?

I was just saying you dudes act like the same clowns you like to clown on. Starting shyt over a word and taking my posts out of context; writing paragraphs over Wrasslin; trying to act like you’re better than the next fan. I can’t help it if you don’t look in the mirror and I gotta lift it up for ya. :ld:

these dudes are literally like the midget version of Arn and Tully ... they're like 5'6 at best maybe?

they're not believable "tough guys" in any way, shape, or form ...

Vince wasn't wrong about this one at all ... they're never going to draw real money.
