Cause it’s not just a Sony thing. Nintendo has been doing it since the 80s, but each entry innovates enough where it doesn’t get stale.

There’s nothing wrong with sequels. Just make sure there’s enough changes where the consumer doesn’t feel like it’s the same exact thing.

They have more in pipeline compared to Sony. That recent release was just Bethesda games we know thats coming that doesnt include Xbox Game Studios and Activision. Sony only got those wack ass GAAS titles

Uncharted 5 could drop next year and people wouldnt have a thing to say about it being the same as 1-4.

Why would anyone have a problem with it? Ratchet looked amazing for the PS5 and was fun to boot.

Uncharted 5 dropping next year wouldn't bother anyone because Uncharted 4 released 7 years ago on a last generation console.

I really liked Rift Apart. My only complaint was how short it was

It looked like a Pixar movie(and i played in performance mode at lower fidelity).

When the sequels don't innovate/change. Might be after the 2nd, maybe the 3rd. Might be after the 34th iteration.

Marvel is going through that right now in the movie/tv shows space.
