It was very detrimental. Integration kept us dependent on cacs. We were gaining strides in becoming independent and self-sufficient. That's power when you do not need someone else for your livelihood.

This cant be said enough a lot of black people need to understand this

Backstory:: When asked about Chet Haze using the n-word and Joell Ortiz's response to it, rapper David Banner didn't want to "comment on what another man is doing because it's 'female-like.'" With that being said, the public speaker did say that White people should refrain from saying it around him or "you might have some problems - physically."

The question about Chet sparked a deep conversation on Black culture between Vlad and David. "Black people, we have ok'ed everything down to a point where our culture is gone," David Banner believes. "That's whats wrong with hip-hop. Hip-Hop don't have no f****** rules no more," and as a result, "our neighborhoods are out of control now."

Press play to hear David's thoughts on breeding plantations, how today's society is "breeding a generation of spineless f****** zombies," and why there's nowhere any Black person can go to escape White supremacy in this special exclusive.

We need a new Motown to fukk up the game. Take over the market. These cacs got our music in a head lock controlling the message and how often we hear it.

Fans are brainwashed abd don't even know it.

When we establish this new Motown what will stop the same thing from happening again?

Until we desire to work together, live together, become exclusive, and buy into black economic empowerment, we will continue to fail within the system

Bingo!!!! And thats why the plan to keep us hating, fearing, and distrusting ourselves is working so effectively. When i shyt on current hiphop, THIS is what im referring to mainly. Its killing our image and causing a divide AMONGST OURSELVES. Its pitting "normal" blacks against "hood"/"ratchet" blacks. Its making both sides look down on each other and not want to come together and build with each other. Its why when "normal" blacks get out the hood, they never reach back to help. Because they dont want to be associated with the stereotype of the "ghetto" black man/woman thats perpetuated by hiphop culture. Ignorance and acting/dressing like a buffoon is celebrated and promoted by hiphop, so "normal" blacks (specifically the youth) feel pressured to suppress their intelligence and to adopt a "hood" persona. And of course we all know that current rap paints the black male and black woman as public enemy #1 to OURSELVES. Songs about killing blacks and selling drugs to our own communities makes us seem like a hazard to OURSELVES. The current hiphop culture has made the word "thug" synonymous with the black male. The image of the black race is under assault. We are "dangerous" to everyone, but most importantly to OURSELVES. That needs to be reversed. We are the only group on Earth that :scust:at the thought of living in a community of only our own kind. We need a resurgance of Black Pride and Black Love.

I can't really put it all on integration. A little thing called the crack epidemic literally destroyed generations of black progress.

Think of it like a pie chart. EVERYTHING in totality worked together to oppress us. Whether it was drugs, guns, employment & education discrimination, redlining, media propaganda, etc. EVERYTHING worked together. Thats why its called SYSTEMIC oppression.

I can't co-sign putting integration and slavery on equal footing. Integration as a means to combat segregation is positive. Segregation reinforced White Supremacy and oppression. Separate water fountains, making Blacks walk in the back of public establishments, making Blacks sit in the back of a bus, making Blacks use outdated textbooks etc. was mental enslavement. You had Black children and young teens feeling inferior because of segregation. "What's so special about that white water fountain", "is their water better than ours", "why am I made to walk in the back of a building" are questions which led to "they must be better or doing something better". By integrating, you get to see the inner workings and truth is revealed that they aren't and weren't superior. Integration exposed the lies of White Supremacy.
