Looking at entertainers and expecting them to step up and lead is a problem within itself
at some point as a collective we have to start understanding, that in this system. It's not possible for us to assimilate, without essentially fukking over ourselves in the long run.
You're right, but black people keep falling for that dream
These people have had a 4 century head start to build an ironclad society to benefit them solely in America. They stole, lied and killed to get it, so whatever benefits new blacks think that we'll get by assimilation are essentially table scraps to these people. You only get what they want to give, and what they give can't hurt their system. That social solidarity shyt that black people want so much is inconsequential.
Until we desire to work together, live together, become exclusive, and buy into black economic empowerment, we will continue to fail within the system
