Upon second watch, this was the funniest special from Dave since he came back. I’m not going to say the best, but it was definitely the funniest laugh for laugh …..because the subject matter was light. These is for all the complainers that were saying Dave got too serious.

“Come join us in our watery grave”.

People alwyas say this but Patrice is one of the few comedians that we have countless hours from. He was on like 130 OnA episodes and they basically made those episodes about him. You can hear him joke about any subject you van think of.

But that’s not stand up. Don’t get me wrong, I love Patrice. But sadly he only got to make one special.

I think Patrice was at his best when he was just shooting the shyt…I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else who, off the cuff, was such a great storyteller and philosopher while being funny as hell in the process

Ironically his standups were always just “meh” to me

He's actually got 3 hours officially. But there may be actually 5-6.

He had an hbo 30, a showtime 30 also, elephant in the room, he had an album, he also has another set never released but you can see the full hour, he also has an hour taped at the comedy store on YouTube.

Patrice the goat and he's got plenty of evidence to back it up:

I mean that’s your opinion which is cool. Not a shot at you, but the only people I hear say Patrice is the GOAT are red pill white boys who are fans of the O&A show. They either hate women or are happy that a black man was friendly with a nasty racist cracker ass cracker like Anthony Cumia. Again, not a shot at you, but that has been my observation.

The magic with Dave is his ability to build a joke hit the punchline, tell a different story and somehow tie in the punchline from previous.

Incredibly gifted storyteller.

What’s crazy to me though is he’s turned more into an artist with how he does his comedy now. It isn’t joke to joke bits, he’s weaving everything around and together, it’s really dope to witness.

People will come in and say it’s mid or it’s great but not detail and explain why they feel how they feel.

The Dreamer isn’t just the title but it’s a story that’s tragic as it is funny. He emphasizes the importance of following your dream invoking a bit of George Carlin while simultaneously having the crude, dark humor that Dave is known for.

The “what do you want to be when you grow up” bit, was probably my favorite part of the show, he is GOAT.

To me this is his best of since his return. I laughed so hard at all his main jokes. This man is a brilliant writer and story teller.

He’ll tell a story for 10 mins and I’m like where is he goi with this, then bam, funny as hell punchline or ending. That dreamer story man.. what an excellent build up
