My "Joe Rogan Experience" is pretty much limited to 5-10 minute clips every now and then featuring some weird topic or unexpected (at least to me) guest like Cornell West or some shyt.

So to me...that also indicates that Dave doesn't realllly get into these convos much with these guys. The "friendship" is shallow. Because if you watch that Rogan episode, you can see in Dave's eyes that he genuinely wasn't expecting Joe to defend Trump, and then attack Biden instead. you could see that Dave realized something about Joe. But instead of pushing back, he changed the subject. That's when I realized he cared more about preserving that relationship, even at the cost of...silencing his own perspective on Trump to Rogan.

I never got the impression that they were bussom buddies. Rogan is a comedian, the friendship between them is mostly based on that, The fact that he backed off having a political discussion with someone he's getting along with isn't that strange. shyt even at my family holiday dinners I have to do the same lest I get berated for voting for Bernie Sanders by 60-70 year old black folk.
