well I mean...rick james was pretty funny though...I didn't really see it as a c00n skit at all. had a boondocks flavor to it.I always tell folks to look at the difference between season 1 vs season 2. The jokes in season 1 felt genuine and a self-conscious variety show. Season 2 felt like a minstrel show where cacs hogged the hell out of the most basic ass jokes:
Straight up fukking gross. Even when I was younger, folks used to look at me strange when I did not laugh at all concerning season 2, because I knew then Dave was infiltrated.
- I'M RICK JAWMES bytchHHH
- DOES WAYNE BRADY HAVETAH CHOKAbytch HARDARHAR *nudge nudge*
- fukk YOUR COUCH *looks to side to see if black people are not present* nikka
- ROFLMAOLMAOLMAO THE GREAT NEGRODAMOUS IS A FUNNY MAN
Sad to say, dude is gone. Because he wants so badly to be an elite, instead of free.
IYKYK
ehhh ever since dave's resurgence he's been alittle funny. i'm not surprised by this.
He doesn't support Trump or anything, that I know. However I remember listening to him on the rogan podcast last year. I was anticipating it because I thought Dave was going to say some real shyt about the election and Trump; but once he kind of saw that Joe was....sus with his position...he didn't push back and instead said, "I don't know what your political position is and honestly, I don't care, you're a great guy" more or less etc, that's when I knew Dave cared more now about his class and status position than anything else.

like the whole skit, not just the "im rick james" quote.
I hate to see dave go down this road. I think the only way he could have salvaged that was to tell elon to take a seat on stage and proceed to have a full on unapologetic roast.
Half of that show was written by cacs though99% of black comics got jokes revolving around hood/poor/stereotypical black tropes breh
As I said above:
"You now what I learned when I saw Kramer's tape? That I'm only 20% black and 80% comedian." - Dave Chappelle
That's been his MO the whole time, not just from one season of his show to the next, or from hiatus to now, he's always been like that. Him being "far behind the internet" with his personal opinion on Rogan or Elon makes perfect sense and I doubt he gives a shyt because "twitter is not a real place". Letting who he can talk to or get along with be guided by some arbitruary internet outrage meter is stupid. And it doesn't make him any less black or more of a "c00n" than he's been since Robin Hood Men In Tights.
Half of that show was written by cacs though
Thats what it comes down to. All of these guys are “industry friends”nah twitter didn't show me that Joe was being weird; his podcasts did.
So to me...that also indicates that Dave doesn't realllly get into these convos much with these guys. The "friendship" is shallow. Because if you watch that Rogan episode, you can see in Dave's eyes that he genuinely wasn't expecting Joe to defend Trump, and then attack Biden instead. you could see that Dave realized something about Joe. But instead of pushing back, he changed the subject. That's when I realized he cared more about preserving that relationship, even at the cost of...silencing his own perspective on Trump to Rogan.
The "the neggar family" skit was written by a cac...Rhetoric still the same and much of it was funny and brilliant. You can shyt on this foolishness by Dave and still recognize how good the show was at the same time fam.
I wasn't addressing you in my original comment in the first place, but you obviously got triggered for some reason.I'm not talking about famous people, I'm talking about you
How the fukk is Kevin Hart a c00n?
You nikkas throw this word around so recklessly?
