A guy that became popular making fun of Black people in front of white folk and making fun of Black people dealing with drug addiction is now "weird" for befriending a white guy that gets off on racial humor?

I am more surprised people didn't see it coming.

:skip:

Thank you. This bit stuck with me and I have been looking at dude sideways ever since

"They is treating us gud":hhh: same verbeage white supremacist use to mock black people "we wuz king and shyt"

Comedians/entertainers are usually narcissists it’s why they get into the entertainment industry. For attention so if you kiss their ass they will support you no matter how vile a human being that person might be

Plus him and Elon have things in common like they both seem to think about trannies a lot

Black Empowerment
As much as I like Dave and most of his comedy there's a strong likelihood his internal views are very different than many think.

His mother is half white, recieved a Woodrow Wilson scholarship (a Ford Foundation funded scholarship on the caliber of the Rhodes scholarship) as a black woman in 1959. After completing that she some how became the highest ranking non-congolese person in Patrice Lumumba's government. 2 years after he was assassinated by America backed leaders, she became a high ranking member of the International Affairs department, a bureau of the State department that works with other key agencies to develop and execute international policy. She was barely 30 years old and this was at the height of the cold war. The US government would never have put a black women coming from a leadership position in an Anti-american regime in an African country a historical state dept leadership position that literally no black person had ever held at that time unless she was already an inside player.

Keep in mind if you were black working for the state department in the 50s-60s at the height of the Civil rights movement you were almost certainly a file clerk or secretary at best. But this black person (let alone woman) is in a leadership position telling white people what do in relation to International policy.

Her government resume and access reads like a CIA intelligence officer. I wouldn't be suprised if Dave looks at blackness very different than most of us.

EDIT: I don't think he's a c00n or looks down on black people. I think being raised by a woman who was okay with being an operative may have influenced how he expresses himself and how he views people.

This is an interesting background, but Dave always seems liked he came from a certain type of household, like an household that made sure he was well read and shyt like that

He doesn’t seem like other types of comedians

Interesting but it reads like a retcon. And if anything, his views on race (or anything) seem particularly external. Especially now. But thanks for sharing that info because it does shed some light.

Nah, we ain't usually narcissistic. Maybe the famous ones. And even then.

In order to connect with people in this medium, you have to relate to people. Breeding ground for sociopaths but narcissist isn't really it.

Nahh, ain’t buying it. Some of the most “self deprecating” people I know are some of the most narcissistic people I know. The reason that they do t mind poking fun at themselves in front of other people is because they already feel so superior to them that they don’t really care what people they deem below them think about them. A lot of comedians really feel like “non comedians” aren’t as smart as them, don’t have the life experience that they have, so they could never do what they do, smh. Especially nowadays where so many comedians have gone full “I’m being cancelled” to try and grift low iq, empty headed dumbfukks, that feed right into that absolute trash. It’s the absolute lowest form of entertainment, saying “they want to silence me” when comedians have NEVER had more exposure, made more money, or had more fame, it’s the only funny part of comedy nowadays

Dave is complex. Ive been to so many of his standup performances over the years. If i were to describe him i would say either a centrist or right leaning Democrat.

Chapelle was my 3rd favorite comedian ever. But it’s fukk him forever unless he denounces Musk and repents for his relationship with him. Some things are lines in the sand.
