To be real, I've gotten dirt looks from both blacks AND cacs when being out IR. It's just that a lot of people simply feel more comfortable dating their own and seeing others doing the same.

I've heard from people who recently moved to DMV that they've never been asked "what do you do?" so often

I got people living in the DMV and I've spent some time in the DMV over the years and we all have talked about how a different breed DMV folks are. It's a cool place but, it's definitely a different atmosphere and mindset there. I think Dubai could come close and from what I've heard, Atlanta as well.
