I havent read a post yet in this thread, but this trade seems TERRIBLE for the Lakers, goddamn

Nets came up

Is that the general consensus? @Malta @CantStop fill an overworked breh in please
General consensus seems to be like it was a good deal for both teams. Dlo was done once thy got the 2nd pick. LA has room to get max free agents in 2018.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Ingram ain't coming off the bench. Stop it :camby. Lonzo and DLO was never gonna work. Neither is talented enough offensively especially when it comes to scoring. Why cross that bridge when you can do it now?

:dead: @ How quickly you've turned on Russell, you told me he was a superstar, meanwhile @Poitier and I were saying Manu type. I liked Russell when he was a Laker, I do not like the idea of trading guys on their rookie deals simply for caproom.

You know how many people put up D Russell stats in the league breh? :gucci:
Who are they gonna get? :mjlol:

Look...I liked Russell too and wouldve like to have seen him and Ball together but the .Let important thing was dumping Mozgov/Deng. You don't need to trade for PG. He's coming next year. Maybe he lands in Cleveland this year as a rental but once he didn't make All NBA, everyone can give him the same contract. Cleveland is the only contender that can get him this year. He's not staying there.

You don't use assets to get George. Clear cap and you might have to sacrifice someone to do it. If you do, sacrifice someone you can replace. Ball is his replacement.

If anything they should've got Butler for #2, amnesty Mozgov, develop this year and sign George next season and go into that season with 2 vets and a young developed squad.
At age 20, playing under 30 mins? Literally no one.

That's the price (on top of all the literal $) of the Mozgov signing. Needing to let go of one of the better young guards is tough.

However, if this brings in Paul George and the 2nd pick is Lonzo Ball, it's worth it for LA. Brook Lopez and a late 1st is a good plus too.

:stopitslime: I've stated I'm happy for him cause he gets his own team. I hope he averages 20 PPG. But like I said, Ingram ain't coming off the bench to accommodate Russsell. Nope. :stopitslime:

Why are Lakers fans mad at this? :dwillhuh:

You're gonna get Ball who will be your franchise PG, clearly Russell wasn't that and wasn't seen as a true SG

Y'all bytched about Mozgov now you actually have a big who can shoot, rebound and ball at a high level

Plus y'all picked up another pick, which y'all need so that y'all can rebuild

Y'all acting like Russell is even a top 20 PG in this league

Am I missing something here?

Great trade lets just be real Dlo was being loved by the fans based on nothing more than a couple of 30+ scoring games horrible defender with a inconsistent offensive game at best be can become a Lou Williams type talent that's why I know alot of Lakers fans are biased just because somebody plays for the Lakers doesn't make them a true laker we have cap room for 20 18 to make moves anybody thinking a backcourt of ball and Dlo was going to work is delusional sorry to burst bubbles

Julius Randle has a more promising potential to me than Detective plus you knew he was gone anyway if you were drafting Lonzo Ball :hubie:

you are drafting a 6'6 (6'7? ) PG who could turn into something great in the NBA on top of unloading the worst contract in the league in Mozgov and get a serviceable big man in Brook Lopez in return...
For a salary dump to chase a 34 yr old Bron.:snoop:
