The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Julius Randle has a more promising potential to me than Detective plus you knew he was gone anyway if you were drafting Lonzo Ball :hubie:

you are drafting a 6'6 (6'7? ) PG who could turn into something great in the NBA on top of unloading the worst contract in the league in Mozgov and get a serviceable big man in Brook Lopez in return...

They moving randle too. Just watch.

They gotta get rid of deng too

They gonna clear that roster, only two that'll be on it this time next year is ball and maybe Ingram

Win-win trade. Russell and Ball playing in the same backcourt would be defensive suicide. Honestly, I think Russell's best role is instant offense off the bench like Lou Williams.

Now Magic has an 22 million dollar expiring deal on his hands in Brook, and he can open enough room to get Lebron AND Paul George next summer.

2018-19 starting lineup

Ball
PG13
Ingram
Lebron
Whoever The Fukk

Not bad at all.

Salary Dump , since Next year PG and Boogie will both be UFA's.

#ChessNotCheckers
you can imagine all kinds of scenarios but at the end of the day it's what you can offer at the moment for the free agents. Yeah we heard that paul george prefers the lakers, but what happens if the other team convinces paul george to stay??

Plus lakers wont be the only team with room to sign players. Freeing up cap space dont automatically mean that they got all star free agents on lock

Russell over Ingram????

:laff:

They shytting on the Nets for this trade, Lets be clear.

Obviously they see something a lot of y'all don't.

I guess this means they're trying to get either PG or LeLoss with the first round picks. Hopefully not the #2 pick. Maybe Clarkson/Randle or both or either one and a pick
Breh the media hates D'lo. This should give you pause. ESPN heads are notorious for not knowing shyt

You cross that bridge when you get to it, they're already starting to dump assets in a push to get the chance of signing a FA who may or may not come.

I'd rather see what Russell & Lonzo look like together, and if anyone would have been coming off the bench it would have been Ingram who still weighs about 143lbs.
Ingram ain't coming off the bench. Stop it :camby. Lonzo and DLO was never gonna work. Neither is talented enough offensively especially when it comes to scoring. Why cross that bridge when you can do it now?

@KevJ @SchoolboyC @Trill Russell i said we won in here a little earlier but did we? Looks like we'll get the kings pick in 19 rather than the lakers pick next year

Lakers are gonna be dumping salary and basically trying to clear out their entire roster for full cap in free agency like how the heat did....

Clarkson and randle probably gone too and maybe they flip brook too

how good can a team with ball George Lopez and a bunch of garbage players be?

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I havent read a post yet in this thread, but this trade seems TERRIBLE for the Lakers, goddamn

Nets came up

Is that the general consensus? @Malta @CantStop fill an overworked breh in please

It's a terrible deal built around the hope of signing LeBron in the future, who will no doubt come in and start telling the Lakers they need to move Ingram for some over the hill player.

LeBron's a an all-timer, but I'm not moving heaven and earth for the 34 year old version of him.

The problem with the drafting of the Dlos and okafors is your getting a player who is good among his peers but is a dime a dozen in the NBA.

Waste q whole season tanking to get someone only to flip him at the lowest value. That's why I liked hinkie. When MCW had a good year he still dumped him cause he was trash. I didn't believe in MCW pre draft and I'm still waiting for him to prove me wrong early in his career. At the very least they should have kept DLO this season. This trade would have been available later

I'm telling you....Hinkie was a great GM.

MCW is still trash.

Lakers aren't getting LeBron but the team obviously needed to be overhauled. Not only that, Magic and Pelinka are going to want to have their players and vision out on the court instead of Mitch and Jim's.

I think they are trying to follow the Warriors model with a super rangy lineup. A PG/Lonzo/Ingram backcourt would be interesting to say the least.
