This is a horrible trade.

Lakers should be in no rush to get rid of Mozgov or Dengs contract. Should have waited to see if D'lo improved and how good of a fit he was with Ball. We could have made this deal next year or trade deadline. This guy has shown flashes that he can be good. He was never treated right since day 1, even Luke would barely play him. What if Ball is a bust? Why trade our young guys for someone who wants to be here? Or a guy like Lebron who is a fantasy. And then what.. Warriors will still be better.

You just traded a 2nd pick for a 27th pick. This trade pretty much was done because PG can come here next which will happen soon in the up coming days but still..this trade just sucks

Russell is a mediocre PG, Ball is gonna be a better fit for what the Lakers will look like and he'll be a better PG. 15 & 5 for a PG in today's NBA is laughably mediocre :russ:
:gucci:Breh in his second year playing less than 30 minutes coming off of injuries?? The fukk?

Wait, Brook is an expiring deal. :patrice:

This might not be that bad brehs .....esp if Magic can get rid of Deng.

If we can :camby: both Deng and Mozzy, then we can't be mad if it costs us Detective.
That's the entire point to this move. It's about dumping those contracts and replacing that one piece you had to sacrifice with Ball, who might be better than what you gave up.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I rather take that chance. If Russell's biggest asset is being young then there are bigger issues with his game. Question: If we trade for PG, where would Russell fit? He'd be on the bench and his value would decrease even more.

You cross that bridge when you get to it, they're already starting to dump assets in a push to get the chance of signing a FA who may or may not come.

I'd rather see what Russell & Lonzo look like together, and if anyone would have been coming off the bench it would have been Ingram who still weighs about 143lbs.
