He wouldn't have made 15,000 dollars if he lost. And he didn't make 30 to win. lol. That number has nothing to do with his pay. It's just how they constructed his pay to work on fight night contracts. It's has almost no relevance to what his actual ZUFFA contract is. Trust me.

not too sure about that, mma is not like other sports, the ufc is like the nfl in the sense its predicated on hype the consumer wants to witness that journey from the jump.There is myriad of small orgs like legacy where one can hone their skill.Once they get to the ufc its best to have some rep= easier to market.

Look at Ian McCall, his disclosed pay for the DJ fight was 9k show/ 9k win bonus. He lost, but still made over 80k (including sponsorships).

If fights like Adrien Broner vs Marcos Maidana can be put on Showtime and moved off of PPV, let's me know all that I need to do. I live 30 minutes from Chicago so I'm bombarded with the upcoming UFC event at the United Center. Neither of these guys are belt holders and when Ben was, he wasn't really that impressive. Why are they charging money for this?

In any event, because Dana is judge, jury and executioner, they don't have a choice or a snowball's chance in hell of changing it. Where are you going to go? Bellator? Give it five years, UFC will likely buy them too.
