Some people get in these threads and look down on people getting that ridiculous amount of unemployed money, and now that they see that the government's childish selfishness has screwed over millions of people, presumably for months, their first response is to say: "Too bad, you fukks, get a job. If you had been more responsible, none of this would have happened."
I don't know where that contempt comes from. As quiet as it's kept, there are going to be people on here celebrating when the Senate refuses to pass the $2000 check, Trump's pettiness lets the original bill die and millions end up starving and homeless.

all benefits run out even if you could be on benefits for like 2 years it will run out and then you have a two year gap in your resume.

*kids were bragging about stacking unemployment. No grown person with actual bills/rent to pay was bragging about taking an undercut in salary, which unemployment is a huge pay cut for majority of adults.

I’m not downgrading my resume by keeping my degree that I earned out and I’m not taking no little boy job making $10 an hour
Once again I’m in a blessed situation where I’m somewhat comfortable right now but millions aren’t.

people with no job and no savings aren't really in position to turn their nose up at anything. Maybe Mcdonalds PLUS a grocery stocking job will get you back close to your salary.
