Listened to it all the way through with an open mind. So I guess i'll start with the few positives:

The Intro (Dreams and Nightmares)
Traumatized
Polo and Shell Tops
Real nikkas Come First (amazing beat)

Now let me explain why its trash. Off top, does this nikka ever change his flow? Same delivery and rhyme structure the entire album. Along with one of the worst voices in rap today. I got tired of listening to the album by track 8, and completely skipped the posse cut out of boredom. Second, the entire album is "im from the street, i used to sell white, now im rich, i fukk models". Absolutely no subject variation or versatility at all. How does an artist not get tired of rapping about the same shyt? The second to last song I skipped after 10 seconds. Too typical. The intro led to a huge disappointment. Whats up with dude screaming? This is the worst album released by a somewhat main artist (after Cruel Summer). Dont think this will grow on me. And yes F&L2 >>>>>>> (just for you stans out there)

I mean what did you expect from this nikka? That's the reason I didn't bump this album and I got on my cpu cuz I burned it for my homeboy

nah homie...Rich & Famous is cool, the beat hook is weak...if anything the hook shouldve been done by Drake and it could be a minor hit. meek just dont have the versatility to spin it. if Yung Joc was makin hits, no reason why Meek cant.

When he first came out he was a breath of fresh air since he was a typical street rapper and someone we haven't heard rap about that stuff and actually have the background to prove his past, but now His flaws are too obvious(rhyming racks in every song and talking about all the girls you get). We get it Meek you never had any of this stuff before so you wanna brag about it now, but c'mon there is gotta be something else you can rap about that you went through.

Although I disagree about the Kendrick Lamar album being garbage... Understand fam your trying to rationalize sh!t with weirdos. You're expecting weirdos and whiteboys to have a credible opinion on a hard street hip hop album? Come on my n!g... They'll never understand, it's not in their DNA. That's why they busy finding a reasons not to like the album, meanwhile in the real world n!ggas is loving the album. They thought 50 first album was wack at first, we had to tell them it was a classic.

It's a good album, a solid debut. His fans will praise it, the streets will bump it for a while and casual fans will like it well enough. How can people complain? He basically stuck to his guns for his album, while most switch it up and go super-commercial.

I'm gonna purchase it for the Philly support alone....it's good enough to not feel like you've wasted money. It's better than A LOT of the other trash that's hyped. My only problem with Meek has always been the same...he's never been the best in Philly, he only has 1 verse, maybe 2 (but Ross only has 1 verse and people love him), and I could never take too much of him. When he's with other people, he's a great compliment; when he's solo he gets annoying to me. Always has.

It's a 3.25-3.5/5...by old school standards.
