Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Let's be reality ...most mocks had Klay going in the teens. He should've gone a lot higher but that's easier to say after the fact.

This past rookie class has still not seen a summer league or a full training camp.

A couple of players had really good moments and have the potential to make this class look a lot better than most predicted.

Ya'll shytting on the Cavs taking Tristan....what about Kanter? Did D Will look like the #1 overall draft like people thought? Vesely?

Burks going before Marshon? There were a ton of questionable picks.

Give them time to prove themselves.

Undersized PF's with no offensive games have low ceilings, all the guys you named with the exception of Vesley have higher ceilings than him. If you're going to take a defensive project big, make sure they're close to 7 feet tall. What exactly separates Thompson from Ed Davis?

He should not have gone 4........

Based on what was available at 4 last year they made the correct pick...the only arguable player is Jonas. And they were not willing to wait.

David Thorpe's re-draft had Tristan going #2.

Rookie Watch: Redraft!

No. 1 pick: The Cavaliers select Kyrie Irving
No. 1 pick in actual 2011 NBA draft: Kyrie Irving
Viewed by most people as the top prospect in this class back in June, Irving has not disappointed. In fact, he's probably been better than anyone expected considering his injury at Duke and the lockout. He's had a terrific rookie season by anyone's standards.

Not only is he the best player in this group, but he also has the brightest future. That's what a team hopes to get from a No. 1 overall pick -- impact now and more impact later.

No. 2 pick: The Timberwolves select Tristan Thompson
No. 2 pick in actual 2011 NBA draft: Derrick Williams
This is not a slight on Derrick Williams but rather a dream of featuring powerful bigs Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic with an athletic and long phenom like Thompson. As good as Minnesota's two brutes are, they are still below-the-rim players, which is not an issue for Thompson.

Although Thompson is still a raw player on offense, he would be helped by Rick Adelman's system. He'd be bad today, amazing tomorrow.

No one is saying Thompson is going to be a great player. We are saying that there wasn't anyone better that was available where the Cavs took him.

Biyombo or Jonas would have been better @ 4, and I said the Cavs at the time should have traded down and take Burks.

And right now, all indications are the Cavs are very much interested in Harrison Barnes @ 4 :scusthov:

9/7 rookie year isn't bad with limited minutes

Thompson only played 20 minutes a game.

on one hand, his numbers weren't that bad for the amount of playing time.

but on the other, why couldn't he get more than 20 minutes a night on one of the worst teams in basketball?

I would of taken it. I don't think Davis is that much better then 4(Barnes), 24 (Q MILLER), 33, 34.

Especially since the Hornets have #10.

But on the real if the Blazers gave them 6, 11, 40, 41 they could have davis.

How come all the prospects seem to have grown but none got shorter.

This ain't the NFL. NBA draft picks are all about quality over quantity. No amount of draft picks compares to a franchise changing big man. No guarantee that Davis becomes that but the Hornets along with pretty much every other team in the league thinks that he is just that. The majority of those picks are gonna be bench warmers at best.

43% shooting.

Biyombo shot better and was assumed to be the most raw offensive player in the draft.

Do you not think he will be a double double C in a season or 2? What more do you want? No expected him to be an all star (he may be one year in the trash east with their lack of centers)
