In Dallas, From Cleveland
I never understood the Tristan Thompson Pick. What a reach, he might be soild and its not like the players that went right behind him did a whole lot. they should have packaged that #4pick to move down and get more picks. But damn, I sure would rather have Faried more than Thompson right now..

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Is he that bad? Does he have LA potential? I didn't watch Cleveland at all outside of the bulls wins.

He's not bad, he's just not worth the 4th pick, especially when you consider Faried went 22.

They could have went with Jonas and got their center, or Klay Thompson and got their backcourt set for the next 10. Instead, they went with a short defensive PF because of "high character".

you don't draft a energy big with no elite skill set in the top 5 (mkg anyone) why did they pick him anyway? Markieff Morris graded out better then also.

Thompson wasn't a bad pick (10/7 when starting, not bad for a rook). I would of gone with Bismack or Jonas, but it's not like they passed up any elite front court players.

Of course the Hornets turned that down. Not a great offer and would cost them money (Anthony Davis will sell more tickets then pick #4 and the rest).

So he :trash: ? He's stromile status already going into his second year. I heard nikkas saying he was nice like La in Portland. Are they incorrect?

No. He's more like Trevor Booker or Taj Gibson with a little better athletic ability.

No, he's a good player, just taken way too high, he's nowhere near Aldridge.

Here's the quote from Ford, might want to change your first post since it's not on his twitter (came from his Insider column supposedly) -

Is Anthony Davis a lock for the No. 1 pick? Yes, and it's not even close. Forget about the fact that the Hornets are saying publicly that they are still considering their options. He's the guy.

You can also forget about them trading the No. 1 pick. Sources say the Cavs offered them No. 4, No. 24, No. 33 and No. 34 for No. 1. And sources said the Cavs got a firm and quick "No!"

By the way, trading all that for Anthony Davis is a fukking joke, the hype around him is ridiculous. The 4th pick has a legit shot to be better than him, and you might luck your way into a rotational player at 24.

Nobody was willing to offer trades like that when LeBron, Dwight, Rose, or Durant were coming out, you know...legitimate franchise players.

Because he played Derrick Williams to a standstill in a late one on one workout (if anything good came out of this, it probably convinced the Cavs to securely pick Kyrie #1 overall over Derrick)

In the Nfl you do that deal where building depth and a team is as important as anything since theyres so many postions to fill in the nba you take the star and run..

1 franchise player>>drafting 5 good players

Not saying i think Davis will be a defnitie franchise player i have doubts but if the Hornets front office beleives that no amount of picks will make them do the deal..

I would of taken it. I don't think Davis is that much better then 4(Barnes), 24 (Q MILLER), 33, 34.

Especially since the Hornets have #10.

But on the real if the Blazers gave them 6, 11, 40, 41 they could have davis.

How come all the prospects seem to have grown but none got shorter.

They rounded up for Robinson, he's shorter than people expected @ 6"8 and 3/4th.
