SHAQ WAS NOT A DEFENSIVE LIABILITY

YALL WANTED TO GET
THAT OFF SO BAD YALL IGNORED
THE ROOT OF THE MESSAGE

What ever gave you the impression he was strictly talking about defense, when he literally never mentioned so?

And let’s not act like Shaq didn’t treat defense with a lick and promise on that end during his Lakers stint.

More to the point here - I take it you’re obviously of the opinion the Mavs will not only make the Finals again, but will be the favorites against whoever comes out the East, if not, how could you possibly defend the root of his message?

Also, the MAGAricks don't understand they are only making their situation worse.

Everyone in the league knows they are cheap, but now they are also sending them the message that they can trade any future free agent or draftee at any given moment and then shyt on their image publicly.

Also this puts unnecessary pressure on their current squad. Talking about the guy who helped his team get to the finals as lazy, unprofessional now that puts media eyes on the current Mavericks team expecting them to be as disciplined as Sparta warriors :mjlol:

Should have just took the L and moved on.
Adelson and this clown Dumont are used to the "fake news," propaganda playbook with fox news and the like amplifying whatever bullshyt they're spewing.

Sports is different. Sure, there's a lot of dummy fans but lies don't stick in the sports world because we can always point to verifiable results.

Yea now they have a better chance with notorious playoff riser Kyrie and no jumper AD lmao

IF HEALTHY
THEY HAVE A BETTER CHANCE
THIS YEAR THAN THEY DID
WITH LUKA.

THIS YEAR AINT LAST YEAR
AND OKC WOULD HAVE
DESTROYED THEM THIS YEAR.

THAT MY TURN/YOUR TURN
LUKA/KYRIE OFFENSE DIDNT WORK
AGAINST OKC NOR BOSTON.

KYRIE AND AD PLAYED OFF
OF EACH OTHER IN ONE GM YESTERDAY
MORE THAN LUKA/KYRIE EVER DID.

If they were of the opinion they weren’t going to duplicate that fluke run, why not just rebuild and demand the world and all its draft picks and young players from a team? Why trade for an aging, injury prone star, who’s had no success leading a team as the centrepiece?

Does trading Luka for AD now mean that they can go on legitimate extensive playoff runs? Can you show me any evidence where AD has proven he’s capable of doing this, not only in terms of actual ability, but also in terms of being healthy enough? Is AD, at 32, suddenly just going to not only improve as a centerpiece, but also gradually get less injury prone over the next 1-2+ years?

For what it’s worth, they’re 3-1 against OKC this season, so let’s not like act like they don’t have the personnel to compete with them. You’re speaking as if it were a foregone conclusion that they wouldn’t have stood a chance.

I’m still waiting for you to address why you believe he’s strictly talking about defense, when all I can read is - “the dedication to work really hard”, “the right culture”, “the right character” etc.

He's acting like this team wasn't just 3 wins away from winning the finals .

"Let's trade away our best player who hasn't entered his prime yet 25 year old and didn't ask to be traded for a known to be injury prone 32 year old that also didn't ask to be traded" yeah that'll do
If any other 25 year old gained 30 pounds from their rookie season, had back, knee and leg issues and barely left the ground, the narrative would be a lot different :mjpls:

Luka is in his prime. He’s been playing professionally for 10 years
