Right I don't agree with the sentiment and I never really have but a lot of people have said this. Kaepernick said this about the draft a couple years. Remember the NBA changing "owners" to "governors"
And those people are dumb as fukk. Didn't Kaep hold a workout in ATL after saying this???

You don't have to play for the contract that you agreed to. Let me know which slaves had the ability to "retire".

Nobody likes to hear millionaires complain about slavery. Ever NBA player makes enough money on their rookie contract to become an independent business owner. Nobody is forcing them to work for someone. Therefore they arent slaves.
