Dak didn't get a single one.

What an unclutch/front-running QB we have

Why does everything have to revolve around the quarterback. at what point does the defense have some culpability.

Like I said before, this team doesn't have an identity. They are a jack of all trades on offense but a master of none of them. It really comes down to play calling on offense. They kill their own momentum trying to be cute with the play calling.

Kellen Moore has become too conservative and this is nothing like the offense he ran, the first few weeks last season. They have weapons, but simply don't know how to use them.

This team is trash. Like top to bottom. The approach and mentality. The softness with which the roster is constructed.

New regime didn’t really get a chance to change the culture or implement new systems or approaches because of covid and the severe limitations of this off-season.

Going to have to wait til next year to really get a feel for what McCarthy is doing different from previous years, because I’m 98% certain this is just a bridge year with putrid Garrett stench over everything.

In the Dak era, the Cowboys are 0-15 if they are trailing by at least 3 or more at halftime. They went 0-8 last year if they trailed by 3 or more at halftime. How does this stat exist for a supposed 40 million dollar quarterback?

Marinate on that for a minute.

The Rams had the ball for over 35 minutes. They couldn't stop the screens and swing passes, so the Rams kept running them shyts over and over and over again.

The Rams game plan was the throw short intermediate passes and a fast pace. Dallas never adjusted. They ran the ball 40 times and didn't need to pick up that much ypc because that passing attacked was able to cover the rest.

When your defense can't get off the field you put the offense in a bind because, it forces you to be conservative. Dallas had their best drive running the 2 minute offense. But couldn’t take the risk of short time of possessions.
