If you're getting moved this late in the game, that's not a good look. It's loose loose when it comes to him being in Dallas beyond next season.

If he moves to safety and has a career year, they won't be able to afford to keep him.
If he has a subpar year, the won't keep him. Not to mention, he will have blown assignments that could cost them games.
