A. Would be the dream scenario. But i can't see Delpit slipping to 51. If we were smart, we would draft Chaisson a 17 and trade back in the first round to draft Delpit at like 24 or 25.

If a DB has 6 picks a season then he's obviously playing great defense 80 to 90% of the time outside those picks.
And it's easier to game plan for a corner you know isn't looking to pick you off.

I can tell u how it feel knowing that even on 3rd and long the other team has a good chance of converting. But again like I said, we got different views on good defense. But again that’s why y’all went 8-8 last season and always average at best

That’s not why we always 8-8 but I agree with you on the corner part though. People love flash because it’s easy to see that. People don’t like the Tim Duncan play for the most part. 1. He wasn't a leader in the secondary or the locker room
2. He hasn't had a turnover in 2 seasons
3. He's not worth the contract he signed. Dallas has too many other positions to fill so making him the highest paid corner in the NFL when he doesn't make game changing plays doesn't make sense.
4. The dolphins overpaid for his services. They don't have a franchise QB and they traded away their best defensive players including Fitzpatrick, so of course they have money to burn.
Since when did Chaisson become a sure fire top 15 pick? I haven't been paying attention to draft stuff this year but I've been following his career since high school. Figured he was 2nd Rd material.
