They probably could, but I think CDPR wants to get this out of the way. Fully make up for the launch of CP2077 and start moving on the sequel and other projects.

Never falling for this company’s marketing bs again. I couldn’t even really tell u what happens in this game it’s so forgettable I just remember the main character name was V and Keanu has an awkward cameo. This is nowhere near GTA quality not even Saints Row 2. I don’t care about the updates, should’ve been day 1

I will never have the same carte blanche trust I had for CDPR before CP 2077 dropped, I want really want to see how these updates play out. So they have my curiosity.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - Gameplay Overview

Includes new gameplay from Dogtown and the various new systems.

• The story is NOT standalone but takes place in the midst of the main storyline. However, you can skip ahead to the DLC if you want.

• Police can now spawn in with mounted vehicles. MaxTac officers can also spawn in eventually.

• Different districts can have different police forces.

• You will now come across fights, car chases, and gang wars while driving around Night City. The devs wanted to add more life to the world.

• Skill tree has been revamped almost entirely - it now tries to lean you into specific fantasies.

• Some of the new skills were inspired by Edgerunners.

• You can slice enemy tires with a katana using the new vehicle combat system. Mounted vehicles available with rockets, machine guns, and

I’m so disconnected from my first “playthrough” (made it pretty far but never finished the game bcuz of a glitch that wouldn’t let me drive in any direction for more than a block or two without freezing which took them FOREVER to patch) that I feel good about starting over from scratch…will probably play it on the PS5 tho since I’ve become so used to gaming on it…despite my issues with them overselling certain gaming features/mechanics and glitches that literally stopped me from being able to play the game I still did really enjoy it which is saying a lot bcuz it’s hard as hell for me to get into RPGs…I can honestly say the mass effect trilogy and this game are the only RPGs I’ve enjoyed long enough to commit to finishing them or at least trying to finish them lol…it’s coming out in 3 weeks…I think realistically I should be done with starfield by then if I really get into it

Been had the ps5 version but I’ve been waiting for the “definitive edition”

After all the updates i really enjoyed it but I stopped playing in hope that the mythical 2.0 would drop but nope gotta wait almost a year for the police to be fixed smh. All that being said what they’ve shown at Gamescom looked hella dope!

Next week that’s why I said allegedly unfortunately breh my bad if I got some of y’all hyped, after seeing what they changed I fumbled and got hella excited lol.

Still can’t wait for the 21st this is a HUGE game changer in the gaming landscape it’s almost a new game I’m not buying a few games because of I’m gonna do another playthrough when the patch drops then 5 days later the dlc comes out
