He doesn't need to fight a gotdamn Russian, this ain't '85. If he fought a Muslim, now we're talking :troll:

Andre Ward should return rightfully angry that Adonis stole his shine. They could show Adonis in a montage fighting in big arenas in main events while Ward is toiling on the undercard.

only way im open to seeing Apollo in the film is if Adonis has a dream where he's fighting and his dad is in his corner..and the more he starts to lose the fight the less he's able to see his father in his corner

that'd be interesting :manny:

:martin: They need to bring back Andre Ward for the sequel and quit over thinking this. They basically set it up in the first movie with him putting them hands on Adonis at the beginning and not getting his title shot due to a broke jaw. I don't need Adonis out here looking for Drago son in Russia for payback or some silly shyt like that.

THIS!!! You already have the built in story with the beginning of the movie plus him and Woods (will always be Avon to me) having their beef.

You want to have Pretty Ricky in it then have him get out of jail while Creed and Ward (the new champ) are promoting their fight and he starts talking shyt about how he never ever lost the title and he deserves the shot not Creed. Ward gets to involved with the shyt from Ricky and puts a little to much focus on him, his training slips and Creed sneaks in and wins. That still keeps Ward strong and explains a later rematch.

Creed then moves back to Ricky and gives him his rematch...throw in the extra side stories and the inevitable Rocky dying and there you have part two.

I don't know. I don't want MBJ to get typecast either :patrice:

Ain't gonna happen. Dude already been on one of them Soap Operas, played dude in Fruitville Station, was in Red Tails and Fantastic Four. shyt he's one of the few from The Wire who doesn't get typecast. McNulty still out here playing cop and Woods ain't seen a different role in his entire career outside of the doctor he played in that one movie. B.Jordan keep this up and he will be one of the greats before it's over

CEO Gary Barber reportedly told Variety that the studio is targeting a November 2017 release date for a follow-up to Ryan Coogler’s Rocky spinoff. “That’s my goal,” Barber said, adding that the date hasn’t been finalized.

If the date pans out, the sequel would drop precisely two years after the first Creed installment. Directed and co-written by Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, Creed has earned excellent reviews and grossed more than $105 million at the North American box office.

Such a quick turnaround might mean that Coogler wouldn’t be able to return to the director’s chair, as he’s currently in talks to helm Marvel’s Black Panther. That movie is due in theaters February 2018.
