To be fair, the first look at Creed kinda took everyone by surprise. No one expected it to actually look good and lot of people didn't even know it was connected to Rocky till they showed the restaurant scene.

The cut of this trailer isn't the best,but the footage looks good. I'm glad they kept the same tone and approach Coogler brought forth and didn't go all cartoony/comic booky like they did with the original Rocky series.

It’ll never be that same feeling because the idea that movie even existed was a surprise. So you can’t be surprised again. But also it’s a different director with a different style who’s trying to bring his own stuff to the table while not ignoring what came before him
