the situation now is basically svb bought bonds they cant cash out on right away for liquidity (simplified) without taking a loss.

To be fair this is the same brain dead country that fought two wars that produced nothing and continues to send billions of dollars to Israel whilst kids are starving here.

They don't have to live with the consequences of their decisions so this is just a game for them. It's a game with the highest stakes possible and you're either a fukking psychopath or have been so poisoned by wealth and power that this is the only way you can get your kicks if you're a sitting politician that supports these failed policies.

Thes politicians ain't sending their kids into these war zones. It ain't their wives needing an abortion to save their life. It ain't their kids having to starve. It's not them who have to get health care denied because a bytchass insurance company refuses to pay for the treatment or medications. They put NOTHING at risk. What's the worst that will happen to someone like Ron Deshythead? He'll lose re election and then get hired at the board of some fortune 500 company and do nothing all day. What's the worst that will happen to Kirsten sinema or Joe manchin? They lose their positions and have to be rich in peace or get hired on as talking heads for CNN or fox.


There are no serious consequences for politicians or bosses so why do people keep acting shocked when they do a bad job?
