Go ahead and get that. Sapphire Preferred is legit. If you can combine that with the Chase Freedom Unlimited you be eating real good off the reward points. Right now those are the only 2 cards I use. CSP for dining and travel (2x points) and CFU for everything else.

That's my strategy as well.

I'm interested in the Chase Sapphire, anyone here have any feedback?

I have a Sapphire Reserve. It's $450 a year but 300 in travel credit. Perks are fantastic and I travel a lot personally and for work. I'd recommend it if you you have a high amount of monthly charges and like to travel a lot.

Thanks man, I ended up with the Preferred instead.

it gives you account history on your credit file. And it will help you build a payment history if she's making timely payments

Having a credit card is a huge curse, I implore all of you to pay that shyt off asap. It really mentally fukks you in the head when interests fukks you over. I was going crazy over a 1500 dollar credit card debt that kept piling up in interest, so glad i paid that shyt off.
I am almost there. Next week, i shall have it paid fully. it was a huge curse. i will not use the credit card unless i have the money. i only need a credit card for amazon? the credit game is twisted. having no debt is the best thing ever! credit card is only good when you travel outside the country so the bank can give you better conversion rate. i guess it is the same for debit cards.

credit cards are evil. do not use.

Its been a while since I applied for something :lolbron:

Ended up getting a Cap1 Savor One For the Dining/Grocery. Thinking about throwing in a card that does quarterly bonuses for 2019.

Aye brehs... gotta question... I’ve hit a wall on my credit score it seems... I’m stuck at 740 and I’m trying to get it above 780.. I have 3 cards... Capital one 4500, Credit Union 6000 and a Chase sapphire Reserve 14700... my utilization is at 2.1% and I don’t know wtf is up. I did the simulator to see if I Pay it all off or increase my limit on one of my cards and my score went down.. I even went and got a personal loan 10k for 36 months and paying that off now... just to see if that will help.. I’m tempted to just pay that 10k off now but I’m hesitant...I don’t know wtf to do.. any suggestions? I don’t have a house or anything else... gotta student loan with 4K left.. but don’t want to pay of off becaus my score would go down... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Breh get rid of any of that debt that you can afford to pay off right now and don't worry about the score hit.
