AVENTURA, Fla. - An employee at the Macy's department store in Aventura Mall was arrested Monday on allegations that she defrauded several customers out of more than $7,000.

According to an arrest report, Samantha Saint-Louis, 22, allowed her boyfriend, whom she identified as Michael Green, to come into the store several times beginning March 22 and buy gift cards and clothing using people's Macy's credit card account numbers without their consent.

Police said each purchase ranged in price from $200 to $300 and were made using five customer's personal identification information.

The total of all the transactions was about $7,200, the report said.

Detectives said a Macy's loss prevention officer observed each transaction being made on the store's surveillance cameras after being notified about the fraudulent charges on the victims' accounts.

Police said Saint-Louis arrived at work Monday afternoon as normal and was detained by a store loss prevention officer.

She was then handed over to police and taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Saint-Louis faces charges of petty theft, third-degree grand theft, retail theft, fraudulently using someone's identification, unlawful possession of personal identification information and organized fraud.

Saint-Louis is being held on $100,000 bond.

The man involved in the transactions is still being sought by authorities.

They should auto increase in a few months but it's worthwhile to call. Just don't let them pull your credit.

Credit Karma only reported my $6000 CLI for my Chase Freedom, but my $19,000 credit limit from my Chase Sapphire hasn't kicked in yet. I wonder how THAT will increase my score... :shaq:

Also every time I get hard pulled it's TransUnion or Experian. I have no hard pulls on Equifax.

Signed up to Credit.com which uses Experian's algorithm to determine a score.

Just got this today. I looked at some of the details of what factored into my credit limit and APR.

Key Factors:
-Length of time since the oldest credit card established. I have one card that is almost two years old, which is still young.
-Balances on credit cards compared to credit lines.

At the time I got my credit score calculated it was 757 and was calculated by TransUnion, which is what it was on CreditKarma. I don't know why I always get pulled by TransUnion and not Equifax, which is higher. I probably could have gotten a higher credit limit if I waited a week or two in order for TransUnion to reflect my CLI on my Chase Freedom.

Anyways the card feels heavy af and definitely metal. Your card number is on the BACK of your card instead of the front so it looks sleek. shyt is dope.

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
There are over 50 different flavors of FICO scores (which are not what you see on any of the free sites - Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, Quizzle, etc.); many of them use something called a Vantage Score, which is a proprietary score created by the credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion). FICO scores are what over 90% of creditors use when determining someone's credit worthiness.

There are Auto Enhanced FICOs, Bankcard, Mortgage, etc. You name it, there's probably a FICO for it. Depending on which version the creditor is using, your scores can fluctuate dramatically. A 750 on a FICO Score 8 could be a 675 on a FICO Score 5, which could be a 700 on a FICO Bankcard Score 4. The algorithms are crazy and convoluted, imo.

I use credit cards in the manner that I would use a debit card; I try to get as many reward points/cash back as possible. I run all of our monthly expenses through the cards. I pay off almost everything immediately after the charges hit, and have no more than 10% utilization reporting every month.

It has worked out well for us.
