But we live in an age, where there's multiple vaccines, which greatly reduce your risks of hospilaztion or death if you catch covid. Not too mention, we have a strong treatment (monoclonal antibodies) to further help, and soon to be other treatments to reduce hospilaztion or death(covid pills).
Why are we wearing masks, and why do we give a shyt if the cases rise? Covid isn't going to go away, and most of us will likely get it at some point. Why should you give a shyt about catching covid, when's there several ways to reduce the potential severities of it?
because it mutates unpredictably.
viruses are ALWAYS one step ahead and this one has already proven itself to be deadly enough to shut down the world.
i have faith in modern medicine but i also realize that covid is still a very real threat to me as an individual and society in general.
why do i wear a mask?
because i don't want to catch covid and i don't want to spread it.
