If you have minor symptoms, you probably don't need monoclonals, but talk w/ your doctor or your local hospital to confirm.

Sounds like fear porn, because all we've been hearing from Omicron is that it's been mild in SA.

This recent article from Bloomberg continues the trend of positive news. If you're fully vaccinated and/or young&healthy you shouldn't be fearing covid, as you have probably have close to a 1 in 100 chance of being in the hospital.
We shall see soon about Omicron, as it's set to hit America by sometime in January (Andy Slavitt agrees w/ me), but most ppl shouldn't fear the effects of catching covid.

RightI might catch some flack for saying this but fukk it.
It’s crazy how the Pro-Vax crowd has quietly flipped the narrative through the pandemic, at first the message was all about preventing the spread of the virus period and that by being Unvaxxed you are contributing to the spread and mutations of the virus by not getting vaccinated. At one point the CDC even stated that vaccinated people do not spread the virus and to take their masks off. (Biden’s words)
The unvaccinated people would state that it’s a highly survivable virus and that they probably won’t die from it and vaccinated people laughed saying even if you survive you’ll have long covid/complications. Fast forward to now and now the bar has been moved, now it’s ok that vaxxed people spread and transmit the virus, ( don’t even need to quarantine if asymptomatic) just as long as they aren’t dying they’re good which was unvaccinated people’s reasoning from the jump. Now long covid and post covid complications are no longer an issue although there’s vaxxed athletes/people who are fukked up after recovering from this virus. Shouldn’t the goal still be to stop the spread period?
The goalpost moving has been incredible and just shows me the people at the top like the government and CDC have no fukking idea what they’re doing.
What happened to the lurking boogeyman of long covid?
What happened to the risk of endangering other people who are high risk but are unable to get the vaccine?

If you have ANY, even minor, preexisting conditions get the antibodies. Even slight pre-diabetes or slightly elevated blood pressure. ANY history of smoking, cigarette or weed. 20 pounds overweight, ect ect. But I read on reddit
that only a certain companies antibodies work on omicron, the others only work on delta.

This is crazy. The article says Regeneron & some Russian antibodies doesn’t work with Omicron.
I got the regeneron monoclonal antibodies via six injections on the first day of my symptoms. I had mild asthma when I was younger, so that was enough for the clinic to give me the antibodies. I wanted it more so because this was my second time, which is more likely to be severe.
I initially had nasal congestion, post nasal drip, no fever or aches..but felt chest pain and light wheezing on day 5-9 that had me worried, my blood oxygen level dropped to
92%…but it never got too serious.

Why are we wearing masks, and why do we give a shyt if the cases rise? Covid isn't going to go away, and most of us will likely get it at some point. Why should you give a shyt about catching covid, when's there several ways to reduce the potential severities of it?

my aunt died a couple of months ago, she had advanced Lou Gehrig's disease.
she lived with her son and daughter who cared for her. daughter's man also lived with them.
they both have little kids as well.
they live in Florida and at the beginning of the pandemic their neighbor's 5yr old daughter got covid and died.
this was when everyone was saying kids don't get it. fast forward to a couple of months ago and my aunt dies.
figured it was just the neurological disease. i didn't go to the funeral because fukk going to Florida. saw pics and
nobody was masked up, smh.
i talked to my pops last week and he tells me that my aunt's son, daughter, daughter's man and all their kids got covid.
none of them vaxed, not even my aunt and they all keep chilling like nothing is going on.
my aunt eventually tells her daughter to turn off her oxygen and let her die.
my pops said that her kids won't talk to him because he knows they killed her by exposing her to covid and he would tell them so.
