This is John Hopkins site and if you want to see more granular information, its awesome. Lets you see county level information. PA uptick seems to be driven by Pittsburgh and Philly not surprisingly but one thing you can see in the county level map is that it radiates out which isn't surprising either but interesting to see. Its like a ring of infection from the major infection centers that decrease in scope the further you go out.

Still using worldometer for just the numbers but this is interesting information

To see the county level info, on the left click on admin0 tab and select country, then admin 1 and select the state you want to see, and then admin 2 to view the counties.

The problem I have with opening things up, is you don't get results in 2-3 days that tells you to close up shop again. It'll be 10-14 days before you see a spike and by then plenty of damage would be done. And we don't have proper contact tracing in place.


And we are really wallowing in the middle of nowhere, a lot of areas have plateaued so I get wanting to open back up, but without a national strategy behind this and you have states/cities doing whatever the fukk they want I fear we will be in this place for a very long time. I mean the governors are disagreeing with the president and mayors are disagreeing with their governers. shyt is an entire clusterfukk, and I guess that is what you get when you have a bozo in office.
