Might as well prepare for a social distance Halloween this year
There has to be a balance. If things remain shut down so long that the country is damaged beyond repair then what? I don't want things opening up before they're ready but at the same time you can't just ignore the other side of the equation. There will be a cost to a prolonged shut down.why do you care so much about shyt opening back up? as long as you have food in your belly and lungs that haven't been infected with this virus, what good is it to admonish any of us who aren't eager to see the shutdown end until it's certain that scores of people won't die within months or even weeks? what the fukk is wrong with you people?![]()
Come another week or two...talks are gonna begin to intensify, over rollin the dice on you nggas lives, by way of these politicians and corporate leaders....
I'm already working within an industry considered essential, although I wouldn't label our exact role, as "essential" at this point. We support infrastructure, military, agriculture, medical, etc. Even with that, these cacs are beginning to take a hit in their wallets. They're beastin to get MFers overall, back to work...
The only unforseen variables, are whether this shyt reignites once measures are lifted, and whether ppl will choose wealth over health, once it's determined this shyt is really spreading like wildfire, and ppl feel unprotected. I'm on the fence everyday now, about going into work... cautiously in-tune with any threats around me.
If I see shyt really begin to fall apart in my proximity, ppl gettin sick, or droppin, fukk employment...![]()
Sweden has not done enough, admits PM
Throughout the pandemic, Sweden's response to the coronavirus has been an odd one out. Unlike most of Europe, it did not introduce a lockdown - cafes and restaurants remain open, and schools have not closed. Although the government advised against non-essential travel, it has largely been business as usual, albeit a bit quieter.
Now Prime Minister Stefan Löfven has admitted that Sweden was not properly prepared for the pandemic and that it is "obvious that country has not done enough". Restaurants not observing social distancing should be shut, he told Swedish broadcaster SVT.
In Sweden, 870 people have died from the virus - many more than neighbours Denmark (247) and Norway (113), where lockdowns were introduced in early March.

And now look at it
It has almost 4 TIMES as many deaths compared to Denmark and over 8 TIMES as many deaths compared to Norway which both went into lockdown in March (I am aware Denmark and Norway are smaller countries but not that much smaller than Sweden)

So I notice the police squad car with pigs in it parked outside a neighbors house for the whole afternoon from around like 6pm...
Wife said she saw the ambulance and police earlier but the ambulance left...
Another neighbor told me this morning he saw a truck come by around 2am with 4 dudes in hazmat suits putting a body in the truck...
That's wild if they leaving dead bodies lying around like that all day...
This was in Queens btw...![]()
