Please explain to me how you completely shut down the country's economy for 6 months taking many company's revenue to zero and then restart it and have it work. Almost every business in this country would go completely belly up with 6 months of minimal to no revenue. 6 months you go flip that switch back on and there's basically no jobs for anybody to work. People don't have jobs they don't have health care. They get sick and can't get treatment. People with pre-existing conditions can't get treatment for them. Most of these unemployment benefits are gonna max out at about 4 months. At that point how does one feed their family for the next 2 months?
And you're saying all this happens to contain a sickness with a 2 week incubation period that within 2 months should have been under control and contained nationwide? The debt crisis of 2008, you're gonna be causing that on a much larger scale. The federal reserve would have to print up enough money to prop up the entire economy and all it's spending. You're talking massive inflation more that likely which means they have to print more money causing more inflation.
It would destroy our economy and most people's lives.

Most people I know didn't pay much attention to this until Mid March. Then they got super serious about it and wouldn't even let relatives visit.
But now...
I gotta be honest, I'm starting to see a lot of people I know slowly letting people be around them, family, close friends.. I think the wheels are starting to fall off the social distancing guidelines even for people that were strictly following it..
It's only been a month. By May people are not going to be following this at all even if shyt still closed. There will be BBQs every night, etc.. not good
But now...

Violence. It's inevitable. The monied class needs its serfs to return to the factories, so that they can purchase goods and keep the money flowing. If the lockdowns continue, shuttering businesses and impacting the wealth of the elites, drastic measures will be implemented by Trump. We are headed towards a confrontation over the very principle of what our society values more. The dollar or human life? If enough people refuse to go along with the calls for restoring "normalcy" and ending the lockdown, the next stage will be an authoritarian demand that society "get over it." When that's ignored, open fascism will be on the ticket, with the "vulnerable" targeted for being dead weight and detriments to the American way of life.
I said yesterday that the people who keep clamoring for an end to the shutdowns and a return to "normalcy" are a growing threat and are asking for a violent response. We will give it to them if they keep it up. Nobody gives a fukk about your investments, your vacation plans or how much your social life has been upended by this. Shut the fukk up. People I love are directly threatened by the spread of this virus. Black people are being decimated by this outbreak. fukk YOU.
