FWIW, normal serum pH is anywhere between 7.35-7.45....so slightly alkaline

Severe acidosis is always a bad thing and it sounds like it fosters an environment for viral replication based on the article someone posted. Which is why knowing a blood gas would’ve been good. Usually when serum pH gets that low, the body doesn’t have a way to compensate to get back on track without assistance and noninvasive ventilation isn’t always successful.do think pH levels and acid-icy in blood can be a contributor like the article i just posted suggests? have drs considered that?
Agreed. We are in Tough times though. Everyone Is searching for a solution given the current crisis and everyone wants to be the one to make the discovery and break the news. All I think we can do is our due diligence in the meantime and take all necessary precautions. It’s a lot of clout chasing doctors out here.

I'm not a biologist, but this sounds like a bunch of "alkaline water" pseudoscience to me. It also looks like they don't seem to know the difference between bacteria and viruses.
