This is my perspective as someone who is in good health, has been working from home for weeks, and has practiced social distancing this entire time. What's the issue w/ having a chick over if you're healthy and won't spread it to others if you get it from her? It's only potentially fukked up if she lives with older people or people with medical conditions.

I was talking to a guy today who served in WW2, and he said this whole situation is the most significant thing that has happened in his lifetime. I thought about it afterward and this guy has lived through Pearl Harbor, WW2 and the Atomic age, the March on Washington, the assassination of JFK, the Moon landing, the Cold War, 9/11, etc. and THIS is the most significant thing that he has seen in his lifetime.He might be right.

We know what war is, invading, defending, killing, torturing, assassinating. There's always been a war going on somewhere in some country. The bombs may have been new, but the intent/result was the same, killing the other side

So then why is Switzerland, of all places, doing so poorly in comparison?
Their deaths/million is much worse than the US.
Not totally fair since its a small country, but even their mortality percentage for infected people is higher than the US.
According to this "playoff bracket" style article, Switzerland pretty much has the highest rated healthcare system in the world.
