So then why is Switzerland, of all places, doing so poorly in comparison?
Their deaths/million is much worse than the US.
Not totally fair since its a small country, but even their mortality percentage for infected people is higher than the US.

According to this "playoff bracket" style article, Switzerland pretty much has the highest rated healthcare system in the world.

Germany even apparently has a smoking rate around 30%, higher than Switzerland and much higher than the US.

Most of the deaths in Switzerland have occured in the Italian speaking part of the country ...also taking into consideration an ageing population, without adequate replacements in terms of immigration to lower the average age, which is happening in Germany.

This is my perspective as someone who is in good health, has been working from home for weeks, and has practiced social distancing this entire time. What's the issue w/ having a chick over if you're healthy and won't spread it to others if you get it from her? It's only potentially fukked up if she lives with older people or people with medical conditions.

You can't really hold those old posts against people because Trump, The CDC, The WHO, the media, China, and even some scientific journals all spread different information or misinformation in the beginning though.
Remember it was Trump/the government who were saying the risk to the U.S population is low, the flu is more deadlier, only old people with preexisting conditions are at risk, and wearing a mask if you're healthy won't help. We all know that's bullshyt now. We would be in a better position if China told the truth, and the U.S took it serious and was honest from the start.

if I was a citizen of Washington ,California or Ohio I’d be happy as hell that Trump told my governor to handle it locally.
