In a week the number of confirmed cases went from 18000 to like 85000. Confirmed deaths went from 241 to like 1200 about a 5x increase.
If that holds then in another week we're looking at 4.2 million cases and almost 4800 deaths. That also means our total current death toll will be about the number of people that die every 2 days.
I mean there’s a lot more testing so a lot more cases. As long as there is testing, there will be more cases. It’s the deaths that we have to avoid it at least manage. Need more ventilators and other medical tools. Just way too slow on this. If it was a company, those responsible would have already been let go. Grade A incompetence.
