what always baffles me about trumps whole focus on economy is this:

He wants to focus on getting the country running again as soon as possible. But how does this idiot not realize that if a shyt ton of workers get sick at the same time and have to recover/cant go to work for weeks the economy will suffer at insane levels.
The only reasonable way is to make a shorter but very hard cut. There will be losses no doubt, but not nearly as much as if this whole thing just gets dragged out into oblivion

A vaccine generally takes 6-7 years to be ready to administer to the population.
The 12-18 month timeline is the most rapid possible safe timeline.
Unlike Trumpitos stupid ass decrees this is one time where the “cure is worse than the disease” could actually be true.
