A previous study conducted in China and published early this month indicates that two separate types of the novel coronavirus — one more aggressive than the other — had been infecting people since the start of the outbreak.

Over time, it’s likely that the new virus will become more contagious, but the variants that cause severe symptoms may die out, Dr. Derek Gatherer, an infectious disease specialist at Lancaster University, told the Mail.

see i thought this was the case as well. but with the talk from trumpito I have a hard time thinking he is that clever. everything he does is reactive. i dont htink we saw him do or suggest anythign thats proactive within reason....EVER.


edit: I also think we have the perfect storm of stupid in the admin and gop and stupid in the general public for this to possibly be the perfect storm for it to be waaaay worse than its projected to be at the moment.

The biggest problem facing the USA is that Trumpito is a complete simpleton.

If you have a good economics professor they explain to you how economics doesn’t take any societal impacts into consideration and that it’s pure dollars and cents. If for example a specific action will cause a civil war or environmental destruction it simply isn’t measured.

Economies are obviously central to any nations well being but a good leader has to balance his economists data with input from a range of other types of experts when making decisions.
Trumpito unfortunately is barely able to keep the last thing he heard straight in his feeble mind and certainly lacks the capacity to attend a briefing and weigh counterpoints against each other.

Combine that with the fact that absolute idiot conspiracy theorist Kushner is the person he trusts most and that Trump knows the economy is his sole calling card beyond racism and it’s a recipe for disaster.
