I'm thinking there's gonna be a Balwin X Howard team up, dude gonna try and be here father she never had.
This show just keeps getting more and more intriguing, wondering who Shadow is.
I think Shadow is Peter's father-in-law.
I also believe the Emily's switched places and Prime's Emily is the one in the coma.
Is Shadow supposed to be in Strategy though? Which is not the department or profession of his father in law.
The Emily theory is interesting but what would be the reason? It wouldn't have the same weight like it would if it was Howard and Howard earth 2.
I'm not sure of the reason. Howard Prime holding Emily's hand in the hospital seemed like a sign to me, as well as this past episode telling her he thought she was better in this world (something like that).
I might watch this before Altered Carbon

I don't think they even HAD to switch places, because i think the "twist" is she was already basically the same person before the universe split. That is, she was already a spy hiding things from Howard, so unlike Howard she didn't change much at all when the universes went in two different directions. (Other than her drug addiction).
The only difference is that Howard Prime caught on to her early, but Earth-1 Howard remained in the dark. So Earth-1 Emily was able to suppress her Howard's career path even while working with (Earth Prime?) Howard.
Plus, "Prime" Emily became a drug addict when the flu hit back in the early 90s. If they did switch, it would probably have had to be before then.

After reading what I wrote above, I realize something:
Although the universes split in 1988, the REAL reason the characters diverged all goes back to the flu epidemic in the 90s.
The flu was probably some random virus mutation in Earth-1 that accidentally spread to Earth Prime.
Mr. Pope's spy organization in Earth Prime thought it was a biological weapons attack and formed "The School" to set up a counterattack. Prime Emily became a drug addict which prevented her from hiding the truth from Howard. Howard Prime joined up with Pope and got the full 007 training program.

And the show seems to be setting things up so that Howard and Other Emily become a thing eventually and I was wondering how that was going to happen with his Emily still alive. I figured they might just kill her off, but whoa. So not only has she lied to him for years, but she's been cheating on him as well. Howard is gonna be devastated.
And it's understandable, but Howard trying to mend things with Anna is actually incredibly cruel if you think about it. Girl is gonna think her dad is trying to become a better person and making amends only to go back to being a crap dad when Other Howard comes back.

Episode was dope!!! Imagine Pac and Biggie dropped an album together on the otherside they probably don't even have mumble rap In all seriousness, show is beyond dope. I truly wish this a Netflix show just so I can sit down and run through the whole thing in a day.

After he came back from walking the streets and helpin that random girl take a pic, she kissed him. then when he came back, they kinda show his cheek and ol girl spots the lipstick. Cut to Middle Eastern spy bae watching news as it reports that a dude at a hostel was stabbed up for no apparent reason

Assuming that there are only two universes, Earth Prime might have more of a class system when it comes to technology. Instead of everyone having an iPhone or Android phone that works basically the same way, the masses still use flip phones while the elites use what to us looks like "magic" or "alien" technology.

was the guy Baldwin stabbed in the throat. She was the "white female" spotted leaving the scene.
