Only insane people cannot separate reality from a video game. I first played GTA3 when I was 11. I haven't gone on any mass murder sprees, despite the enormous fun of going around and murdering random people.
Blood and gore isn't absolutely necessary to have fun. Blood is a real thing. If I shoot someone, i expect blood, guts and gore.

naw. you suggested banning games. thats stupid. Can you read? I said that violence and blood within reason is fine, I play shooters and all that shyt too so of course I don't have a problem with that, but its irresponsible to act like games that make killing innocent people and replicating mass murder into a light-hearted spectacle aren't contributing to a larger problem at least in some capacity.
And I agree that a large and probably main culprit in all this is faulty parenting, but let's take an honest look at all aspects here is all I'm saying.
Games like GTA where its nothing but sick and mindless violence without a purpose need to be curbed if not banned outright.
Blood and gore within a scope of reason is OK but the way some of these games just cater towards the bloodlust that a lot of these losers who play videogames seem to have is disturbing.
You Can Lock Up All The Games And Movies You Want, Sick People Who Wanna Kill Are Gonna Kill
Any Individual Who Plays A Violent Game Then Feels The Need To Kill A Bunch Of 6 Year Olds Is Clearly Not Right In The Head
It's Deeper Then "Video Games" That shyt Is A Cop Out For People Who Dont Wanna Take Responsibility For The REAL Problems In This Country

I never said we should ban all violent video games, I said that games like GTA that encourage mindless/dark kinds of violence need to be addressed. Games that encourage the player to kill innocent people in sick and twisted ways aren't needed in a society where mass murder is becoming the norm, period. If we are going to go after guns, then we have to go after other things that are contributing to this flawed culture.
Why is blood, gore, and guts absolutely necessary to have fun in a video game? I'm sorry, but I don't get it.
Oh word? GTA is just about mindlessly killing innocent people now? There's no plot whatsoever. It's just you push a button, and you strangle a baby. Press a different button, and you commit genocide. Gee, I must have missed that patch.
Kill yourself.
Lol. Some of you dudes are fukking illiterate.
I play violent video games, I'm about to beat far cry 3 right now which is pretty damn bloody.
I'm not laying the blame of every massacre in this country at the feet of the video game industry, I'm just being honest when I say that games that don't seem to think twice about letting you mow down pedestrians and pump old ladies full of bullets outside the frame of the plotline rub me the wrong way, and those feelings are amplified when some disturbed nut decides to turn that shyt into reality. Is it really irrational for me and others to feel that way? I understand you dudes wanna defend this hobby at all costs, but you won't lose cool points for recognizing what's obvious, I promise.
mass murder is the norm now?
