Hated the result but Asuka vs Charlotte was a great match. They need to run it back on some Steamboat vs Flair shyt.

Cena was legitimately liked by fans from 03-06 then they started to turn on him because of staleness and his matches started becoming bland. He wasn't Vince's first choice either but circumstances changed and he got himself over. He also had a midcard run to build his credibility up with the fans.

Reigns was chosen and superman pushed from the start, and what made it way worse is they pushed him over their most over face -- D Bry. There isn't even a midcard now, compared to when Cena came up where it was filled with beloved vets who could work and get new talent over. They tried to repair Roman after the fact by having him wrestle those types of matches in the main event against guys like Bryan and AJ.

There were boos and Cena sucks chants at WM 21. By Summerslam that year the crowd was mostly against him, certainly more than 50/50.

I thought Streak match between Asuka & Ronda would be on Vince's radar for next year Mania... Then, I forget that he is petty MAGA elitist.

Then, I remember... IF any star was gonna get that spotlight with Ronda(A self made product)... It's not gonna be a foreign grown superstar. It's gonna be WWE Grown MAGA Elitist product in Flair.

Ronda vs. Flair has way more domestic appeal
YET... Ronda vs. Asuka would have infinitely more international appeal.

So, it really makes no sense. Even in the end.. Ronda could of dethrone Asuka. Then it dawned on me... That also gives another problem... Vince wouldn't want to give that streak beaker rub to an outsider(Ronda) even if it could make him the most money. So, he gave it to Flair who didn't even need that rub to cement her as "theoretical" greatest booked Women wrestler of all time.

It's really all about feeding Vince's egos and the stories that he likes. Which is obviously that Ronda vs. Flair may be main event next year.

Yea, just watched it back, incredible match. Best women's match since the Sasha/Charlotte stuff in 16'.
