So yeeeah...
Dope show overall, but the last two matches definitely killed my vibe... and it could also be cause a FIVE HOUR SHOW is exhausting as fukk no matter who's in the main event. They really need to condense that shyt or start earlier next year. Do that old school shyt and start the show at 4pm or somethin'.
Triple threat was a dope-ass opener. Everybody worked like shyt and kept the excitement for it building until the end.
Asuka/Charlotte definitely exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be decent but they killed it. I can live with Asuka losing, but I woulda rather she won.
One thing I can't live with is Jinder gotdamn Mahal goin' over in the 4-way. That's another dude like Baron Corbin who they keep tryin' to make happen and it's just not. It was def. time for Rusev. Crowd woulda went crazy. Really, anybody but Mahal woulda been a better idea.
The mixed tag was the match of the night... Rousey really surprised everybody. Angle put in work, HHH & Stephanie definitely sold for Ronda and made her look great in her debut. They all put together a match that was what Mania matches should be like, keepin the crowd into it at every moment.
Triple threat tag was ehhhh... nobody really showed out like I thought they would. If they do a rematch of this at Backlash and throw a ladder in there, it'll probably be what this shoulda been.
The Cena/Taker was like I woulda loved it to be a more 'epic' match considering who they are, but Taker coming back after all Cena's hype and shyt-talk, to run thru Cena like that, kinda more entertaining Taker looks better than he has the last few years.
Daniel Bryan is back, brehs... The tag match coulda been a little better, but it delivered. DB, KO, and Zayn all worked, and of course Shane was down to take crazy bumps so that was good as well... Dope match.
Nia/Alexa shoulda been a squash... dragged on too long and the crowd wasn't into it like that. Glad Nia won tho, well deserved. That's Big Bae right there.
AJ/Nakamura was dope, I probably need to watch it again tho'. It was kinda losing my attention at times, a couple dead points in the match and I feel like these two shoulda been edge-of-your-seat throughout. That Nak heel turn tho'... I think he's gonna be even better in that role.
This Braun/Nicholas thing is possibly the worst 'surprise' since the Gobbledy Gooker. No kiddin'. Glad they think enough of Braun to attempt to give him a WrestleMania "moment" or whateverthefukk... but nah bruh. This was wack as fukk, and I can't really see where this can even go.
Roman/Lesnar... I wasn't hype for this match anyway, it was decent of it was the main event of any other PPV, but it def. shouldn't have closed the show. Short as Taker/Cena was, I think the crowd woulda been happier with that in the end than this. They worked, and I'm kinda glad Lesnar went over, but I had kinda checked out of this thing by the time it was over.
So overall, good show. But that 5-hour runtime and the sequencing of matches coulda made it a better show. Best one IMO since 30.
