And if that's true, that's also the problem: Picking someone to be the top guy rather than letting the crowd pick for you and getting behind him. Again, back to Austin: He wasn't Vince's pick. shyt he wasn't even Vince's 10th pick. But the crowd picked him and Vince had to run with it. Reigns is his pick now, cool. But be prepared to run an audible if need be

Even Cena had 50/50 heat, with Roman it's just they mess up too much. With Cena it was all or nothing, when WWE realized fans were booing Cena, they didn't really care. With Roman its start stop type shyt like tonight, that audible they pulled at 31 was the best and worst thing to happen because even though it got Seth Rollins over and got the crowd home happy, but it hurt Roman because they just prolonged his heat he was still gonna get regardless. With Cena, they never pulled audibles it was just you gon like Cena or else
I missed Ali/Ced, but I'll agree on the IC title match. I don't think it was the best those guys could have done - lot of sloppy spots and some weird pacing - but it felt like they cared.
I'll also shout out the NXT girls in the Women's Battle Royal. All of them were working their asses off while the main roster chicks practically slept through the thing.

Well that was a whole bunch of unpredictable shyt over about 7 hours 
- IC title match was good.
- Asuka vs Charlotte was good. Would have perfered Asuka winning because they could have did what they did with her in NXT & have her slowly getting more desperate as time goes on to keep the streak going. Didn't like that after all this time they beat Asuka & 2 minutes later it was about Cena jumping the rail & running to the back.
- Didn't care about the US title match, then Jinder won & I still don't care. Should have did that Cena shyt after this.
- Mixed tag was better than it had any right to be. Props to them because that had disaster written all over it.
- SmackDown tag title match was booked to perfection. Went about 6 minutes & was just Harper & Rowan dominating. Happy they gave Harper something.
- Sucks for Elias that was the best he got for Mania.
- Missed Taker vs Cena. Went to grab some food during Takers entrence thinking I had plenty of time, came back & he was leaving
- Tag match was weird because they booked it into a corner with the stip & Bryan coming back. Crowd died afterwards too which didn't help the rest of the card.
- Nia vs Alexa should have been 2 minutes of Alexa running before getting caught & murdered. Given how short a bunch of stuff went I'm amazed this was a match they went longer than they should have on.
- AJ vs Nakamura wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The NJPW match was them just countering each other on everything in an epic feeling match & this one was just them beating each other up to crowd that died a couple matches back. Finish was cool even though Nakamura should have won, don't know what the point of turning him is.
- Hilarious that they really couldn't find somebody to be Brauns partner & just said fukk it.
- My internet died in the main event right after Roman almost got spiked on the floor from a suplex. Came back & he immediately kicked out of 3 F5s Crowd was fukking around & about 4 more F5s & 3 spears later Roman lost

Then maybe it's time Vince let's HHH show him his vision. It'd be interesting to see how HHH would build up Big E. I know it would involve a HHH WM feud where HHH gets the beards in their feelings around Survivor Series, gets his ass kicked off and on until February, gets his one heat spot beatdown with assistance from Steph, and then catches the pin at WM after a decent but underrated match. Yeah, that would happen. But the rest of it would be interesting to compare.

Wait, I'm confused. By longe range direction of his character, do you mean permanent babyface? I don't think most people would have an issue with the latter if he made different choices with the former. Isn't that where the bigger issue lies for most fans?
