The truth is Mos and Jay can both learn from each other. Just as we can learn from both Obama and West. He would't be president today if he didn't. We ALL know this. NO way is a black pandering semi-militant brotha getting elected POTUS. It's not and won't ever happen. The fact we even got to see a black president in our lifetime was incredible. I don't expect him to be perfect, but his words and actions show that he is a person that I can tell cares about us as black people. There's times where you can tell that Michelle is frustrated due to her not being able to say what she really wants to, but she doesn't because she understands the big picture.

While I understand what Rev Wright was getting at, he should have been smart enough to understand (which he did eventually) that he had to take a step back in order for his friend to step forward. Low key, but I respect him for that.

Trying to pander to one demographic/group will not get you to the highest office in the land. And again while Obama is president, the real power in this country always lied with Congress. While Obama can create legislation, Congress has to approve it.
