So People's real beef with West is that he expects more from the president and Black Community just expect him to be president and that's it. I find it not surprising at all seeing the racist laws in the last 30 years that have pushed Blacks and Poor Americans to defend for themselves that posters in this thread would ignore and continue to use the excuse of "What should the President do for Black People?"

So let's see who Obama has helped...

1. Rich White Guys on Wall Street in Billions of American Tax Dollars
2. International Banks in Billions of American Tax Dollars
3. Drug Cartels in Mexico with American Guns for Drugs
4. Al-Q in Libya and Syria to destabilize sovereign nations.
5. Israel in Billions of American tax dollars and full support for Zionism
6. Gays in Marriage Rights in States
7. Immigrates only to deport almost 2 Million of them since he was elected

So in Mathematics....Blacks are the Majority of these listed but never get anything mentioned about being helped on his agenda. So the posters will continue to allow their presidents excuse of 88 Million people are unemployed....Millions are homeless, Major Cities are wastelands, Crime continues to go up, Racial Motivated Laws continue to be passed, Prisons gets bigger, etc.

I can go on which is ignored.

Obama has little to no control over who gets hired for these jobs. Nor does he have control Black people being unemployed (which due to a lack of qualified individuals to fill these jobs and a lack of education to teach the skills required to do these jobs. The rising unemployment is in direct correlation to the African-Americans dropping out of school like flies over the past decade. Obama has delegated billions of dollars to improving the educational system and funding programs that will train African-Americans to learn in demand careers, such as his STEM grants to High School students in school right now and doubling Pell grants so more kids can fund their education.

Nah, but he could introduce a bill that caters to inner-city development that will indirectly influence the black communicity. funding for the revitalization/ Construction of schools, community centers, and outside recreation courts etc would help a lot.

What good is introducing shyt that has no chance of passing? Obama has done quite a bit for the inner cities but he cant go as far as so many people want him.

Did you not read the previous posts in this thread before you decided to write your ignorant opinion? Many people have already listed many of the things that obama did for the african american community and they also included the painful truth that african americans have to help themselves as well. This is what exactly what it sounds like. They want him to pass "The Help African American Community Bill". Yet I bet if they listed what they want in this so called bill, Obama would of already have done half of it.

African Americans have helped themselves with community outreach programs and small businesses. Yet whose products are in their stores? Who's loans are they purchasing? There's no Black Banks. No Black Owned Multinational products. The Leaders like Al Sharpton didn't put no effort into developing any of that. He was on the FBI payroll.
