Sad.
The propaganda in this post is too damn strong (even shamelessly trying to claim he played "elite defense").
Some Canadian told me all that matters is ppg though. Wait, Bron finished the series tied with Jokic for 2nd in ppg, so we're gonna have to shift the goalpost on that one too.
Nah, it must have been his terrible shot selection, that's what they said. Except he shot 52% for the series, better than AD, while half the Laker rotation shot under 38%.
I guess his historically bad 3pt shooting cost them. Except he was literally 2 threes away from shooting 35% from 3pt for the series. The difference isn't necessarily anything more than random bad luck.
It's wild that he nearly averaged a 30-point triple double, had 40 assists to only 9 turnovers, played elite defense, only committed 6 fouls the entire series, and was the only Laker to consistently contribute every game....but takes the blame. They pick and parse everything they can. It's hilarious because one day they'll say Bron deserves the blame cause he's the best player, then the next day they'll claim AD is clearly the best player and Bron is just another guy. They have to change the narrative every day. It's incoherant.
I think you need to be more worried about GS and Curry than LeBron and the Lakers don't you? Always strange to me how other teams fans come into another teams thread and start commenting lolThe propaganda in this post is too damn strong (even shamelessly trying to claim he played "elite defense").
Ain't no surprises at all the cats who dapped it too.
When Bron stans have to convince themselves that a series resulting in a sweep is merely the result of "random bad luck" than anything else, you know the depths they're willing to go to in order to protect their mans. You can't reason with folks like this because they've deluded themselves into thinking that nothing can be Bron's fault and when he does lose, there's some cosmic manipulation at play.
A legit type of mental illness.
@Rhakim has been trying to convince himself and others that this series was decided by fluke shots(that Jokic makes regularly) and the nuggets shooting a better ft% than usual. Mind you, the Lakers have led for maybe a total of 30 mins of game time all series out of 192 mins lmaoThe propaganda in this post is too damn strong (even shamelessly trying to claim he played "elite defense").

You got a whole ass thread to discuss GS stuff

He actually consistently comes in throughout the entire season and watches/gives insight into games throughout the entire year. @Gil Scott-Heroin is just upset cause his team got eliminatedThe irony in this post is hilarious considering you’re responding to a dude responding to @Rhakim who isn’t a fan of the Lakers and stays all year in this thread
3 out of the 4 games were decided by a possession or 2.
It really did come down to crazy shots from Jokic/Murray
Uhh what? What do you mean decided by a possession or 2?
Game 1 we were out the entire game until the last 3 mins. I don’t consider that competitive.
Game 2 was competitive but then we got blown out and had to stage another failed comeback
Game 3 it was a blowout
Game 4 this was the first game where I agree with that assessment
Can you really sit here and say we weren’t outmatched? You guys focus on the last 5 mins when we were playing from behind the majority of the series. Even the game last night we were playing behind after the 5 mins mark in the 3rd Q
What part of we were outmatched do you not understand?Uhh what?
Game 1 - Lebron missed a 3 to tie the game with 45 sec left, and there was debate whether he should have drove it to cut it to 1 instead of going for the tie
Game 2 - Lebron missed that layup to cut it to 2 with 26 sec left
Game 4 - Down 2 points and missed the shot to send it to OT
Please stop man.. Those are literally games/plays decided by a single possession or 2. I get so sick of coming into these threads and having to show you how wrong/stupid your points are. It's exhausting.

I’ve never seen a player fanbase so insistent that a sweep was close when they didn’t leas the majority of the series and not even a quarter of the series. It’s actually deranged.
I love that you accurately stated we couldn’t get it done at the end of games because of Lebron though. It’s probably the smartest thing you ever said(not many options to choose from). We can come to a consensus using both of our arguments that we were trailing the majority of the series but we were resilient enough to comeback but Lebron failed in 3 out of 4 games to close it out.

You accurately stated that Bron failed to close in 3 out of 4 games. Your words, not mine. You’re already been voted the worst poster on a board full of your fellow caucasians, are we trying to go 2 for 2?Reading is an important adult skill. Cause if reading was a skill of yours you'd see my statement was that 3 out of the 4 games were decided by a possession or two.
