Ready for this era to end. Has been the most underachieving Lakers team in my lifetime. Team is damn near unlikeable as well. I'd be in favor of blowing up this team sooner than later but I know they would never do that.

Dlo, Schroeder, TB Jr, Beasley etc don't need to return. Can't believe I'm saying this but we need to keep Riu and Reeves. LBJ needs to get his foot fixed and be load managed next season. AD is just who he is at this point.
Need to find real knock down shooters to surround those guys with..

How does this make sense when I was begging Bean to retire 2 years before he actually did lmao

Next time @ me, it works
I literally mentioned your name as well as sccit.

Bro, the Lakers in the WCF after looking like they were giving their 1st to New Orleans. It would be nice for Bron to get 5 but this team ain't a contender. Too many scrubs, backups, and specialists in this current NBA. Salute to Pelinka, they turned the season around. This team was ass for months. They got as far as they were going to go. Kind of got lucky Memphis bigs were hurt and Ja got hurt.

D Lo and Vanderbilt are both useful for regular season as they were after the ASB. One can give you 20-25 especially when you got two stars who play 50 games. Vandebilt can shut down the best opposing wing but both are unplayable in playoffs. Very easy to make Vanderbilt useless when he gives you nothing on offense. At worst, he has to improve on his cutting and finishing. You can't just be a bad shooter and then a bad finisher too. D'Angelo has just never played well in playoffs, his #s go down every year. FO will most likely re-sign D'Angelo and hope to trade him by the deadline. Just can't lose him for nothing.
I wouldn't bring DLo back unless it was a very modest number and he was coming off the bench. I get the regular season stuff but you can't have $15+ million tied up in him to be unplayable in the postseason.

I can't even think of any teams that would want him or have a need, especially when there's reports coming out about losing him if he gets benched. Certainly no winning team will look at him but even the bottom feeders have no use for him.

Detroit has Cade and Ivey; Houston is going after Harden and even if he doesn't go back, they aren't signing DLo to take touches away from Green and KPJ; Orlando has no use for him; San Antonio...LOL; Charlotte has LaMelo and is probably gonna draft Scoot; Indy has Hali and Matherin; Utah wouldn't pay him. I really don't see where he would fit.

Jimmy is surrounded by knock down shooters that you cant come off of so he gets to dance one on one or get buried.. Lakers have Vando and dlo :mjlol:

Jimmy is surrounded by Gabe Vincent, Duncan Robinson and Max Struss. We're not going to sit here and pretend that these rosters are equal. Also, the Heat aren't winning because of them. they're winning because Jimmy is having a top 10 playoff run of all time. Superstars do what superstars do.

Beasley being unplayable kinda forced Ham's hand along with Vando. What's the ideal rotation?

AD
LeBron
Rui
Reeves
Dennis
Walker?
Would D'angelo be better off the bench?:mjcry:
Gabriel?:francis:
TBJ:francis:

8 man rotation means AD and 38 year old LeBron probably have to play 40+ minutes.

I agree with you. Their path was a lot of great play + a lot of luck which is fine because every team that wins a ring is somewhat lucky. But my biggest point has always been, if they lost that minny play in and drew the nuggets in the first round, would this optimism and moral victory exist? Now what does that say, was the team really that good or was it the path?

Have you ever watched those guys? They can fukking play. That's like shytting on Austin Reaves because he was undrafted.

So Jimmy has a better roster?

:gucci:

My point is not that guys can't play. My point is that Butler is winning games through ill, not because of them. They're helping them stay afloat until Jimmy takes over. It's no different than what Rui and Reaves are doing.
