Norfeast groovin…
It is what it is, we’ll get whatever we get from this era and move on. All the more reason to stand Pat on the Russ shyt. I wouldn’t be mad if they decided to trade AD and Bron for more draft capital and let them try things out with a team further along in development.

Obviously that won’t happen, so best case scenario Bron retires after this contract and AD expires not too long after. We’ll be ok, it’ll take some time tho.

He dominated Jokic in the Bubble. Dwight played a small role but AD was matched up with him more often than not. He just isn't the same guy.

More like we saw the Lakers washing the Nuggets.

Neither player was the primary defender of the other, and AD wasn't able to stop Jokic from doing whatever he wanted when he was matched up with him (who can forget Jokic literally backing him down from the 3-pt line, in crunch time for the go-ahead bucket, in Game 2). Jokic had to deal with the best collective defensive frontcourt in the league of Dwight, AD, McGee and Bron in every game, while AD had the luxury of being primarily matched up against a 6-7, 35-year-old Millsap (27 mins total matchup), who's a shell of his former defensive self, and Grant (12 mins total matchup); both who give up a significant size and ability advantage.

Series matchups:

Jokic (offense) v. Dwight - 20 mins total matchup, 50% FG (8-16), 12 earned FTs
Jokic (offense) v. AD - 11 mins total matchup, 58 FG% (11-19), 6 earned FTs
Jokic (offense) v. McGee - 6 mins total matchup, 46 FG% (7-15), 0 earned FTs.

He had more success against AD than any other Lakers big.

This bucket on AD was a microcosm of what Jokic did against him in that series.

AD had the benefit of having two bigs [Dwight and JaVale] tag-teaming Jokic, nullifying his effectiveness as the series went on. Dwight was the one who caused him the most problems, getting into his head causing him to get into foul trouble. Jokic ate whenever he was matched up with AD.

AD has never been a guy who can handle legitimate bigs; he operates best as a free safety. It was one of the main reasons he was able to remain healthy and be successful on the offensive end in the Bubble, because Dwight and JaVale were the two main bigs doing all the defensive donkey work against opposition big men.

And that's why if they hope to have any sort of a future with AD on the team, they need to sign bigs to take over those same roles.

Dwight barely played until game four (22 minutes). :unimpressed:

Game two was the only time Jokic scored more than 22. :unimpressed:

That was the worst series of his career for a reason and that reason was primarily AD. :unimpressed:

If that AD still existed, the Lakers wouldn't be nearly as trash as they currently are.

Would this happen if they had a series this year? Not even close. Jokic would drag AD all over the court in a sweep.

I literally just posted this:

Series matchups:

Jokic (offense) v. Dwight - 20 mins total matchup, 50% FG (8-16), 12 earned FTs
Jokic (offense) v. AD - 11 mins total matchup, 58 FG% (11-19), 6 earned FTs

AD wasn't even Jokic's primary defender. You're obviously confused on what happened during that series. Jokic dominated him [on offense] in their direct matchups.

About to be a long season. Teams will not trade with Lakers unless they are able rob us of everything.

I don't think that's entirely true. He's always had a great motor.

He played a 65-min game back in the 2019 playoffs -

Never said he didn’t have a great motor...but he showed up out of shape that year on some Luka shyt and had to spend the rest of the year getting back into shape. At the end of that Lakers series their physicality started to wear him down...and part of that was because he wasn’t in the best shape.

Which is why for the first time he decided to spend the entire off season in Denver to take his conditioning seriously. And he’s been MVP Jokic ever since...

You can find regular common folk that hate everyone. If LeBron is sub-posting Jim Bob that watches Fox News and doesn’t watch the NBA that makes what he’s doing even more pathetic.
Look nikka I don't care about yall bytching about what another grown posts on his IG captions.

He's not gonna change into the person you want him to be
