i hate the bullshiit Keisha Plum does so much.
:patrice: I like Babas beat, but idk its not a song I would keep.

beside that i fukk with every Con verse on here and wish this was just him by himself.
beside John Woo Flick (that song made me want another GXFR album)
every other song getting the feature cut off
this was a great listen to me.

I fukk with it too. I didn't get it at first, but now I do. He basically tells his entire life story starting from getting kicked as a baby in the stomach (zippers on stomach) up until now (look what I became, I went from king to a god) and he does it basically just using nouns and little descriptive words. I don't usually love Keisha Plum but it's their first time together and I feel like he almost matched her energy with a spoken word type flow. I feel like he damn near did a Roc Marci type of flow on there with the stream of consciousness / free association bars.

I wish his verse had maybe had another 8 bars on Babas but that's my only issue with it.

Now I can see maybe the reason why they took Courtside off the album. The beat sounds pretty similar to Babas but not as good IMO, and it also has a female speaking on a lot of it.

They could have been talking about their favorite cereal and I'd still love it. The beat and vibe of it is cold blooded, plus I love Keisha Plum

Exactly, so why not boost his vocals? :francis:

They know that man can't help how he sounds

Nothing to boost man, there's no treble or bass in his voice sadly. Better move would have been to strip down the beat, use some reverb or something. Think about how the best mixed Ka songs sound in terms of mixing the loop.

Glad you know how the engineering works. There's really not much you can do with Beans' verse from a mixing point of view except what you said, and maybe add some filters to the beat, cut the drums out, or do some things to make Beans' voice not get drowned out by all the other sounds. You can't just boost his voice louder because there's not really anything to boost. His voice is almost totally fukking shot.

I actually think Beans would sound dope on some drumless beats. Maybe an EP or something.

Yeah, and Ka still has a unique timbre to his voice that sounds good on stripped down production. Beans sadly sounds like DOC did when he tried to come back

This is pretty good. It's really short as well. Funny enough the features on Drumwork stood out the most to me in a way, the female emcee (pardon me her name is 7xvethegenius) on her is NICE her flow switch up from 2:00- 2:13 to 25 then switch to 2:30 to 2:40 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O O O O O SHE NICE

Jae Skeese is cool but he sounds too much like Conway

-Piano Love, fire
-Drumwork, Amazing
-JWF, fire

Stressed is straight but it came off corny to me at parts:yeshrug:

-So Much More, Amazing
-Chanel Pears, Amazing

Now this track right here
-Babas
This is it, this track is it everything about this track is a 10. His flow is left field, subject matter is left field, Keisha's poetry is left, the beat is unorthodox, it's the definition of spooky this is the GxFR sound I love.

-God Don't Make Mistakes
:wow:The way people feel about Stressed I feel about God Don't Make Mistakes

Overall Conway delivered

I'd like him to do a track with malice.
